It's an ARTventure!

Come explore the art of Plein Air painting! On day one we'll head outdoors and use a view finder to create a composition with watercolor. After taking a snap shot, on day two we'll translate our images in to an alla prima painting, and on day three we'll use palette knives to add texture to our masterpiece! We'll learn the fundamentals of painting and color in two different mediums with the use of the campera and view finder to explore landscape painting. On Thursday we'll round out our ARTventure with a trip to the Peninsula Fine Arts Center to see some art work and paint some of our own! We will go swimming each day, weather permitting. Campers should bring a bagged lunch, as well as their swim suit, towel, change of clothes and any flotation device needed. The cost for this camp is $85.00 per child. Registration and payment are due by Wednesday, June 16th; we must have a minimum of 10 campers to hold this camp.

Walk of Fame!

| Lights.... Camera..... Action! We're going behind the scenes to see just what it takes to put on a hit play! A theater instructor is going to lead us through special excersizes and teach us the tricks of the trade. We'll learn how to build a set, make costumes, put on stage make-up, reherse our lines and put on a skit! Once we've learned just how it all works, Thursday we'll head on over to the Ferguson Center for a behind the scenes tour and see the professionals at work! We will go swimming each day, weather permitting. Campers should bring a bagged lunch, as well as their swim suit, towel, change of clothes and any flotation device needed. The cost for this camp is $75.00 per child. Registration and payment are due by Wednesday, July 21st; we must have a minimum of 10 campers to hold this camp. |
